A downloadable game

Monculi is a local multiplayer game where you beat up your friends. You play as a cantankerous ne'er-do-well, whose only goal is to be the last man standing. Jump between platforms, punch, and then do it again because they make funny noises whilst they do so.

Controls:

keyboard: WASD = Move; F = Punch; Space = jump;

keyboard-2: Arrow Keys = Move; N = Punch; M = jump;

XBox controller: Left Stick or D-pad = Move; B = Punch; A = jump;

More players can be added by pressing B on a controller or F / N on the keyboard. Currently supports up to 9 total players.

Hey TBatlas,

I was looking at local multiplayer games on Steam and saw Monculi, and it looks like a lot of fun. I run a gaming console startup that focuses on local multiplayer games and I think it could do extremely well on our platform, GameNite!

Are you interested in selling your game on a different platform where it could get better exposure? If you can build for linux, you can build for GameNite, so a port may be very easy (but it depends on a couple factors).

If you’d like to know more about my company, we put together this slide deck for our investors but it should give you the gist of what we do:

Disregard the 30% cut of game sales - right now we’re waiving that fee for indie devs, so you can keep all the revenue from your game.
